Toni Payne Says She Never Cheated On 9ice, Admits They Didn’t Handle the Situation Well

* In a recent post on her personal blog, Toni Payne
addressed the stories that she cheated on ex-husband
9ice, maintaining that she never did.
Excerpts from the post below.
Apparently some blogs are touting the idea that I am
ok with cheating. “Toni Payne Said, do not leave a
cheating man” Toni payne said its ok to cheat”. I have
NEVER in any way shape or form, condoned cheating.
It is hurtful, wrong, can be dangerous and I do not
advise anybody male or female to cheat on their mate.
I don dey talk long but to the initial point i wish to
address, to those who still believe I cheated on my ex.
I am sorry to disappoint you, I NEVER cheated on my
ex hubby. Its not who I am, it will never be who I am.
Tell yourself 1 million times, Toni Payne cheated, it will
never make it true. Nobody caught me in any lie, or in
any bad situation, nobody slept with anyone he was
close to.
Anyways To address this my ex said this or that issue.
Let me just say He has NEVER for once opened his
mouth to accuse me of cheating. He has NEVER for
once opened his mouth to accuse me of sleeping with
anyone he knows. If awon alaiye baje wanna use our
situation then to sell their crap, how is that my fault?
The same media controlling the remote to say I think
cheating is ok, are the same who controlled the
remote back then to say his song was about me.
Nobody ever called him to verify or ask before
publishing. Ill admit that we both did not handle the
situation well back then, It was the first time we would
experience such. The tension was plenty and emotions
were everywhere. We should have sorted it privately.
which we did try to do but one rubbish headline and
emotions go buckwild again.

Cristiano Ronaldo Wins FIFA Ballon d'Or 2013 - FIFA Ballon d'Or 2013 Award



* Real Madrid player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been
announced as the 2013 winner of the prestigious
FIFA Ballon D’or award. The former Manchester
United footballer was named as the world’s best
player at a ceremony held on Monday.
Ronaldo could not hold back tears as he gave his
acceptance speech. He thanked his teams (Real
Madrid and the Portuguese National team), family
and everyone that supported his career so far.
He beat Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich’s
Frank Ribery to grab the award for the second time.
He first won it with Manchester United in 2008 after the
club won the UEFA Champions League beating Chelsea
at the finals in Russia.

Yaya Toure Wins CAF African Footballer of the year award for the third successive year

* Last night, Cote d’Ivoire international and Manchester
City’s midfield powerhouse – Yaya Toure won the
Confederation of African Football (CAF) African
Footballer of the Year Award for the third successive
year.
Yaya saw off competition from Super Eagles and
Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi, and Cote d’Ivoire
compatriot and Galatasaray’s striker, Didier Drogba to
pick the award at the Glo/CAF award ceremony held in
Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday night.
Upon receiving his award, Toure declared: “I am very
proud and very happy to receive this award, but would
also like to congratulate my brothers, John Obi Mikel
and Didier Drogba.”
Yaya Toure had earlier won the BBC African
Footballer of the Year award in December 2013.
By winning the 22nd CAF African Footballer of the Year
award, Toure, 30, emulates Abedi Pele and Samuel
Eto’o with a hat-trick of wins.
Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele won his three in a row
between 1991 to 1993 while Cameroonian striker Eto’o
did his from 2003 to 2005.
Toure who only won the FA Cup with Manchester City
last year, won based on his pure class which shone
through at both domestic level and for the Elephants of
Ivory Coast and also saw him being the only African to
be included on the 23-man shortlist for Fifa’s World
Player of the Year.
Many had believed that Mikel, 26, who helped Nigeria
win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa and
also won the Europa League in 2013 with his club
Chelsea, deserved the award more.
Drogba, 35, has also won the prestigious award twice
in 2006 and 2009 and was a runner-up in 2012. The last
Nigerian to win the award was Nwankwo Kanu in
1999.
